Today Connor went to the Dentist for the first time. I know I am totally a slacker he should have been a lot sooner, but, better late than never right ! Connor did great we went to a pediatric dentist he watched a movie while they worked on his teeth. Connor let them floss and clean his teeth the hygienist asked me several times if this really was his first visit to the dentist because he was being so good. I am so glad he liked the dentist we will see how his next visit goes.
We have really focused on basketball with Connor so he really didn't have much exposure to soccer before we started the season. This puts some explanation to the picture of him picking up the ball with his hands. The game went fairly well. We only had one problem during the game the ball went behind the goal and Connor wanted to get the ball and give it to the ref, the only problem was that so did one of his teammates. So it started with Connor getting pushed, so he pushed back, and then the other boy pushed Connor again so Connor took his hand and smacked him in the face of course the boy started crying the poor ref didn't know what to do since they were on the same team. The coach talked to both boys and Connor said he was sorry and all was well and the game resumed. It was a rough first game but we had many discussions about not using our hands in Soccer especially using them to hit others. Hopefully the talking helped we will have to see how next week goes.
Connor was so good to wait for me to get home to open his valentine. It was so adorable as I walked through the door I received candy and cards from my two favorite boys. 
Connor opened his valentines he was excited for his candy, heart crayons (thanks pinterest), and bath letters and numbers. 
After we opened our valentines we cooked an amazing valentines breakfast, including heart pancakes, berry shakes, heart croissants filled with eggs, cheese, and bacon. Donovan had to head to Casper, Wyoming for work so after breakfast and a quick nap for me he was on the road. I was sad he had to leave on Valentines Day but we had a great morning and I was glad to come home and have breakfast with my boys.
It was a nice day outside and one of Connor's favorite things to do is to play outside, so we headed to the park to play, Connor was excited to play at the park and was happy to have Nana join us. 
We had a great afternoon at the park. After the park we headed home and Connor and I watched movies. Donovan was in Wyoming till Wednesday night so Connor and I had the night to ourselves. I let Connor pick what he wanted for dinner and he chose Cafe Rio. Nana joined us for dinner since my Dad was working as well. After Cafe Rio we headed home and went to bed. This Valentines Day was almost perfect, I wish Donovan could have been home. Many would consider this not a great Valentines Day but I love spending time with my family, these are the days and moments that mean the most to me and I look forward to many more occasions that I get to spend with the 2 greatest boys in my life!
