Since we got Connor's Halloween costume he has been asking multiple times a day when is Halloween. Today we made a chain that he can tear off a paper every day until Halloween.
Connor loves to go hunting with his Daddy. Connor has been going hunting these past couple of weeks. Today we made a family trip up the canyon for a nice 4 wheeling ride and hunting trip.
Today Nana joined us for our last day of swimming outside. Connor is just like his mom and loves the water and he has no fear. He could swim for hours and hours and never get bored. Today we went to the Murray pool, it was great they let him even do the diving board with a life jacket, of course he loved it. I love this little man I am sad he is getting so big so fast, I wish time would just slow a little bit.
Today we spent the afternoon downtown at City Creek. We started with a trip to the Disney Store and got Connor's Halloween costume, and then headed to the splash pad for some water fun!
This blog has taken me a while to write. We are beyond thrilled to be pregnant with our second baby. We have waited, waited some more, spent many nights and days crying, prayed, fasted and attended the temple multiple times over the last four years. This is such hard subject for me to address to more than just a few who have helped us through these trials the last nine years. Infertility is such a hard and personal topic. But today I want to focus on the miracles that our little family has been given. It was a hard journey to travel but we were so grateful and humbled to be able to have our wonderful son Connor. He truly has brought so much joy to us there are no words to describe. He is such a miracle and I am so grateful to be his mother. Infertility for us has been a trial and struggle, that being said I have seen so many tender mercies from the Lord, and I am so grateful for the gospel in my life. I am grateful for my family and those special friends that have brought me strength on the hills and valleys of our lives. I know of many families who struggle with this either openly or silently and I hope and pray that even if we don't know we can be sensitive in our words and actions. I just wanted to take a moment to say in words how grateful I am for my wonderful son Connor and our baby girl that will be joining our family. I know with all of my heart and soul that while we go through things in this life we can ask for strength from the Lord. This does not mean the pain goes but it does mean that somehow we can weather the storms and get through the moments, hours, and even days that we are struggling.
This week we our 28 weeks pregnant! Connor is so thrilled to be a big brother, he asks often how much longer till his baby sister gets here. We are so excited and blessed to receive another miracle in our family!!
