Connor's 1st Birthday!!!!!!!!!

Forgive me for the mixture of pictures it is getting late and I don't have the patience to fix them :)

Connor loved his 1st birthday cake, at first he just started to knock off the sprinkles and then he started to get into it with his hands, he kept looking around in between bites to make sure he could continue to dig into the cake.

Connor loves balloons, every time we go to visit my sister at work she gives him a balloon, and he loves them, so for his birthday we got 50 balloons and used them to decorate and then after the party we took them all down and let Connor play with them, he played with them for days I don't even think that he realized he had tons of new toys to play with.

More Cake

I had to keep Connor's hands away he wanted to touch the candle.

More toys, Connor has more toys then he knows what to do with between Christmas and his birthday he was defiantly spoiled.

Connor had a hard time opening presents for his birthday after the first couple he did not want to sit on my lap anymore he wanted to get down to play, so we opened really fast and moved along quickly. Good thing we did the cake after the presents I never would have had his attention.

Overall his 1st birthday was a success and I can't believe my baby is ONE time really goes by way to fast, I wish it would slow down!!!!

Happy B-Day Donovan

Donovan's birthday is the 27th of December so with his Christmas and Connor's birthday on January 3rd we have quite a busy schedule. So we celebrated Donovan's birthday multiple days. My Grandparents went to Oregon for Christmas to visit my cousins and Aunt and Uncle so when they returned we did Donovan's b-day and Christmas at my parents house. Connor had so much fun playing in the wrapping paper, he just kept rolling around and laughing it was adorable.

I did surprise Donovan at the cabin with a birthday cake that my brother-in-law and sister-in-law brought up to the cabin for me.

And since I did not want to have to hide and pack in Donovan's presents I gave them to him a day early before we left for the cabin, of course more hunting gear, a never ending story!

The Cabin

This was Connor's first trip to the cabin in Fairview and also his first snowmobile ride. You have to snowmobile into the cabin during the winter. We decided to go to the cabin for Donovan's birthday weekend. We had so much fun.
Connor was so tired his nap schedule was all messed up and since I am very routine with naps it was different for him to be off his schedule during the holidays.
Everytime we went for a ride on the snowmobiles Connor fell asleep within a couple of minutes. On one of the days we went sledding and Connor slept in the back of the prowler while we all sledded.

Connor loved the snow he would just get very mad when I had to put on all of the snow gear, I may have been a little obsessive but I really did not want him to get cold. Connor had so much snow gear on he could hardly walk, and he didn't quite understand why he needed to put on all of these clothes to go outside.

Eventhough we had sleepless nights(Connor was in the pack and play in our room, and it didn't go over well) the cabin was a blast and I look forward to taking Connor up there this summer and also this next winter.

More Christmas!!

Look at my new shoes :) I have to admit I am a little obsessed with shoes, I love buying shoes and now it is even worse because little shoes are so cute. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Behunin for the adorable new shoes.
Connor did okay with opening presents the rest of Christmas Day but he was more interested in the wrapping paper then the presents themselves.

We unfortunately left our camera in the car at Grandma and Grandpa Tresner's house but Connor sure was spoiled by everyone on Christmas that is for sure, thanks to everyone for the wonderful toys and clothes.

And finally sleep, Connor's first Christmas was very busy with only a short nap between grandparents so finally on the way home he was really tired and didn't even wake up when we took him out of his car seat into the house. Merry Christmas Connor it was a blast having here this Christmas we love you!!!!!!!!

Christmas Morning

We did leave the stockings for Christmas morning and we opened them after Connor opened all of his presents!!! It is so much more fun to watch and help Connor with his first Christmas morning. This time last year I was anxiously awaiting his arrival!!

Christmas is my favorite holiday, I just love it, and it is even better with Connor on the outside this Christmas, we really enjoyed all of the Christmas fesivities with our family.

Connor did help open some of his presents but once he opened one he did not want to move on to the next present he just wanted to play with the new toy he just opened.

I helped Connor open presents while Donovan took pictures and ran the video camera

Christmas was a blast and I can't wait till next year!!

Christmas Eve

It was so much fun opening presents with Connor. We always open one present at my parents on Christmas eve. We went to my mom and dad's after we had dinner at Donovan's Aunt's house, and opened our first present.

I just loved this shirt, it says I have been super good all year, Donovan hates when I buy these type of clothes because he can only wear them once but I can't resist.

Donovan and I have since we have been married have opened our Christmas presents to eachother on Chistmas Eve, because I always get so excited to give him his presents and I can't wait. We decided to do it again this year so that on Christmas morning we could spend all of our time opening presents with Connor.
