Life is Rough

Connor is 3 days post surgery and it has been is roughest day, luckily they gave us good pain medication to give him and he fell asleep on the couch watching cars, the poor little guy hopefully will have a better day tomorrow

Santa

. My sister works at Harmons and they had free pictures with Santa, so we took Connor to see him, Connor loved Santa and ran to him and sat on his lap.
Next to Harmons they also had reindeer that you could pet, Connor had a blast and it is fun to watch him get excited for the holidays

Connor's Surgery

On Friday December 3rd Connor had is tonsils and adenoids removed, Connor did well enough that we did not have to stay in the hospital overnight. We had to be at the hospital at 630 in the morning to check-in, when it was time for the surgery we walked down a hall and the anesthesiologist took Connor from me and went one direction and we had to go another to the waiting room, the hardest thing that Donovan and I have every done in our lives is walk down the hall listening to Connor scream all the way down the hall. The surgery lasted only about 30 minutes, I met Connor in the recovery room after his was awake, while Donovan had to wait in the waiting room, they would only let one parent in at a time. Connor woke up from anesthesia angry, he scratched his face and tried to jump out of the bed, and called for his daddy they finally let me in the recovery room , Connor fell asleep and stopped crying as soon as he was in my arms. We were then moved to post-op were we stayed until it was time to go home, and Donovan met us in post-op, Connor did really well after they gave him some pain medicine and once he finally really woke up he watched cartoons and ate slushies and they let us take him home. I am so glad Connor did well and that the surgery is over hopefully no more surgeries for the poor little guy.

Christmas Tree

Connor helped us set up the Christmas tree

Connor did really well helping with the tree he would put the decorations all around the bottom of the tree were he could reach, and we would go along behind him and move some of the ornaments towards the top of the tree, it was so much fun to be together as a family and enjoy each other, I love Christmas it is my favorite time of year, and having Connor makes it so much funner, and happier!!!!!
