My little boy is getting so Big

Connor is growing so fast I can hardly keep up. I have a good friend that is amazing at blogging her daughter is the same age as Connor. She has been potty training and blogging daily the adventure. After reading her blog I realized I have never written a post on our potty training adventure so I need to catch everyone up to date. We started to try to potty train Connor at the end of March of this year. He had decided that he was going to take off his diaper. After cleaning up poop off my walls and carpet we decided that if he was refusing to wear diapers it must be time for underwear so the adventure began. We went to the store and picked out Connor's favorite underwear which happen to be Thomas the Train and Sesame Street. We also bought suckers and chocolate. Connor would get a sucker for peeing and a piece of chocolate for pooping. We started taking Connor to the toilet every hour and if he went then he got his reward. Being the smart cookie that he is it did not take him long to figure out that if he went on the toilet he got treats so he took many trips to the bathroom forcing himself to go just to get the sucker or chocolate. Connor did really well. After the first week he would have an accident if he was playing and didn't want to stop what he was doing and go to the bathroom. To our surprise Connor caught on to going poop in the toilet quickly I thought that would be the hard part but it was the reverse for him. It has been easier than what we thought I have heard so many horror stories of potty training especially boys. But Connor did great until the end of August he would still have his occasional accident but for the last couple of months he hasn't had any accidents. I think we have tackled the potty training and we are so proud of Connor.
