A Day Enjoying the Mountain Resevoir

Today Donovan spent the day hunting and I since our camping trip Connor was begging us to go back to the lake to play in the sand and swim so we headed up to the mountains. I haven't been to Smith and Morehouse for a few years so we headed up to the Uintas and Papa and Nana came with us.

 We spent a few minutes at Smith and Morehouse but it really didn't have any sand to play in so we headed a few miles down the road and headed to Rockport I spent many summer days at this resevoir growing up in Kamas, it was fun to take Connor and begin the memories with him

Connor loves jumping the waves that come from the boats on the lake. It was a fun day playing in the sand and water, this boy is just like his mom he loves the water!

Cousin time at the Zoo

Today we went to the zoo with our cousins, Ben, Charlotte, Lydia, and Hayden and of course the moms Charity and Kristina.

It was such a fun day at the zoo. I am so glad we were able to reconnect with our cousins, and I hope we are able to get together more often in the future.

Elmer Family Reunion

This weekend we headed up to Pineview for the Elmer family reunion. We all grew up together in Oregon and now we have all moved to Utah. Unfortunately we have gone years without seeing eachother. So this year we decided it was crazy to live so close and not see eachother so we planned a family reunion at Pineview Resevoir. It was such a great weekend we had almost all of us there.

 This poor little man was so tired he asked to go to bed around 9pm and was asleep as soon as he hit the pillow

I wish I would have gotten a picture of all of us together but this is just a few of us at the reunion. It was such a fun trip and I look forward to having a great Elmer reunion next year!!!

Hiking

My cousin Scott came from Oregon and spent a couple days with us. Today we decided to take him up to the mountains and go 4-wheeling and hiking. Donovan and Anthony wanted to go up and get the game cam so we headed up to Kamas.

 Once we got to the end of the 4-wheeling trail at the top of the mountain we started the hike. This is Scott hiking down the mountain

The crew we had such a fun hike, the top of the cliff is were we started, it was a challenging hike but we all had a lot of fun. I love the mountains and I really miss living with the mountains in my backyard.

 I wanted to get a picture at the top were we started to hike down the mountain to show how far down and also how far up we had to hike back up. We hiked down to a couple of lakes. It was a fun and challenging hike.

Night at the Drive-In

Tonight for movie night we decided to take Connor to the drive-in instead of the movie theater. I love the drive-in, it is so much fun. We went and watched Ice Age 4 it was a cute movie and we had lots of fun enjoying the movie with our popcorn and snacks!

A day at the Children's Garden at Thanksgiving Point

Today we headed down to the children's garden with Nana, Aunt Charity and Hayden. They have a really fun Noah's Ark with water for the kids to play in. Connor of course loves anything with water. We had such a great day playing and exploring the children's garden.

Day with the Boys

Today Donovan and Uncle Anthony took Connor hiking to get ready for the hunt. They hiked down and set up the game cam. Connor loves hanging with the boys and enjoys the outdoors just like his Daddy.

Anytime we go 4-wheeling with Anthony, Connor is stuck to his side and always has to ride with his Uncle Anthony!
