Connor and Hayden

On March 27th my big sister had her sweet boy Hayden Micheal McOmie they have waited for him for a long time, the delivery was a rough, but we are so glad he is finally here and healthy. Connor has been so excited to meet baby Hayden. This was the first time Connor got to see Hayden, he was so excited to get to hold him.Connor did so well holding Hayden he was so soft and gentleThese boys are so cute I hope that they will become best friends as they get to grow up together.

Ready for Summer

We are so excited to have such nice weather. While we were at Target today I let Connor pick out his sunglasses for the summer. We are defiantly ready for the sunshine and warmer weather

Day at the Zoo

Today we went to the zoo with some great friends, it was such a beautiful day with great company. Connor had such a blast playing with his friends and we look forward to many more trips to the zoo this year.

Connor the Country Singer

This morning while I was running I put on some country music. Connor loves to sing and play his guitar I just had to get some cute pictures of him jamming out to the music

Connor and Mallory at the Dinosaur Museum

Today Mallory got to come with Connor to the dinosaur museum. It was so much fun to watch Connor and Mallory play together they both had a great time.

Donovan is an amazing Dad

Today was fast Sunday in church as I sat and listened to many of the children and teens in our ward bear their testimonies my eyes filled with tears. This Sunday almost all of the meeting time was filled with these sweet testimonies. I love the innocence and spirit that these children brought into our meeting. Of course Connor wanted his turn to bear his testimony after he asked Donovan didn't hesitate and he walked his son up in front of the congregation and they both bore their testimonies. Connor ran to me with happiness and joy and gave me a big hug. Every day I think multiple times, am I doing enough to raise a strong valiant man who will cling to the gospel despite these tough times. It is in these moments I think okay we are doing something right it is going to be okay. I don't know what the future holds I can only hope and pray that I can show and teach Connor the things he needs to know to prepare him for the world. I truly take comfort in that I have a wonderful husband who is an amazing Dad that takes his son's hand and leads him by example. Sometimes trials and obstacles in this life are more than I can bear words can not describe the power I feel with the knowledge of the gospel and the priesthood in my home. Thank you Donovan for being an amazing husband and father.

Soccer Game 2

Connor was so excited all week to play soccer again we could hardly get him to take his jersey off. Finally game day arrived. Connor did really well this game he is learning the purpose of soccer and he almost made a goal and he didn't touch the ball with his hands once. Love this boy he is such a cute kid we really enjoy these moments he is only going to be small for such a short time.
