Snow and Lights!!!!!

We had so much fun going to see the lights on Temple Square with Donovan's sister Brandie her husband Bryan, and there adorable baby Mallory!! It actually turned out to be a wonderful night it wasn't even to cold. Connor was probably sweating with all of the layers I dressed him in. I put on a pair of thermals, a long sleeve onesie, a sweater, snow pants, two pairs of socks, snow boots, hat and gloves I really did not want him to get cold but I am sure he was hot instead, oh well better to be to warm then to cold.
I just love the lights at Christmas time, it is my favorite season, the snow is so beautiful.

I am suprised we actually got a picture of Connor smiling in his stroller, he hates the stroller I am always imbarresed to stroll him around while he is screaming his head off, but we had a few screaming sessions and then full of smiles, I couldn't believe it.

Connor once again had to get his haircut it grows so quick he does pretty good he smiles and laughs it is just hard to get him to hold still.

Connor loves to play on the bed and change the channels, luckily he has learned to slide off the bed so we haven't had any falls recently. I will keep praying it will stay that way!!

Such a helper!!!

Connor decided to help me with the laundry the other day, he crawled into the dryer and would take the clothes I just put in and put them back on the floor. He just loves to get into and do whatever I am doing at the time.
Of course before I took him out of the dryer I had to take a picture, he was having so much fun!!

Connor sat between Donovan and Uncle Anthony to watch the Utah vs. BYU football game. He thought it was so much fun even though our team lost in OT.

Connor loves to get into the bowls and pans in the kitchen. He loves to find and whisk in the drawer and stir in the bowls. It so cute he will stir and stir and stir, he sure makes a mess of the kitchen but he loves to help especially when I am making cookies in the mixer. Connor is getting so big he his almost a year old I can't believe it. He has been walking since around 10 months, he started to take some steps when he was 9 months but now he is walking well and walks all around the house getting into everything he can reach!!!

Christmas Tree

I love Christmas it is my favorite holiday by far. So of course as soon as Thankgiving passed I got out the Christmas decorations.
Connor helped for a minute with the Christmas tree but then became uninterested and headed off to find toys. Now that it is all set up he had done pretty well with not pulling of the decorations. Connor knows he is not allowed to mess the tree but he loves to go and look at it when the lights are on. Christmas is so much fun I can't wait for Christmas morning when Santa has made his visit to our house!!!!

THANKSGIVING!!!

Thanksgiving was a little different this year, not only because I was not pregnant and Connor was here but also because I had to work 12 hours on Thanksgiving so it was just Donovan and Connor making the rounds with family. This is an adorable picture of the cousins on Donovan's side of the family. Donald, Mallory, and Connor, I am amazed that they were still long enough to take the picture.
Connor of course loved Thanksgiving he loves food like all the boys in my family:) Since I was going to be at work I got Connor this shirt which Donovan was not a fan but I had to have something that involved mom since I was working, and I must say he looks adorble with his shirt and messy face.

What a day Connor enjoyed all the food and of course all of the family giving him all the attention he could ask for he is walking so well but I don't think he got to show it off because everyone wanted to hold him and carry him around. All in all Connor and Donovan had a good day and enjoyed the family time.

TRICK OR TREAT

Connor had so much fun carving pumpkins. Connor kept trying to eat the guts of the pumpkin. By the end of the night Connor was covered head to toe in pumpkin guts.

Our little green monster. We took Connor trick or treating for the his first Halloween. It was so much fun of course Donovan ate the candy Connor got but Connor did get a few treats from my parents and my sister that where just for him and he loved them.

We took Connor to his grandparents in his costume and while we were at Donovan's parents Connor cousin Mallory came over in her adorable tiger costume. They are both so cute!!!!!!!! I am amazed that Connor sat still long enough for us to take the picture.

Fun!!!

Donovan and I took Connor up the mountains to go for a ride on the wheeler. It was a lot of fun and Connor did very well. It was a short ride but nice to take him before it got to cold!!

Connor just loves to get into my flour. I was in the kitchen cooking and I forgot to close the pantry door and within seconds Connor had the lid off the flour and was having so much fun he was absolutely covered it was a mess to clean up but he was so cute!!!
We went to Gardner Village one night to show Connor all of the witches. It is so fun to watch Connor experience new adventures. Holidays are so much more fun with Connor around!!!
The next adventure was the pumpkin patch. Connor had so much fun helping to pick out pumpkins. Grandpa even came to help. We tried to carry him but he just wanted to play on the ground in the dirt and of course lots of it went straight to his mouth. This is one time I wish he was walking he is almost there but not yet. Connor will take a few steps but them hits his knees were he can get were he is going much faster.
Connor is so adorable and like I always say getting so big :(
At Connor's 9 month check-up he weighed 22lbs and 31.5 inches tall. His weight is around the 75th percentile but his height is off the charts. Now I know what moms are talking about when they say kids grow up to fast.

We went hiking up in the mountains with my brother Karl and my parents. It was a lot of fun I haven't been back to Kamas in a while. I like living in the valley with all of the conveniences but I sure do miss the open spaces. Connor loved the hike and this is his new pack that we just got. I hiked with him on my back for a while and then handed him off to my brother Connor sure does get heavy after a while.

First Hair Cut

I can't believe it was that time. Connor went and had is first hair cut today. He is getting so big I can't believe it and I know I say that all the time but it is true. Connor did really well of course he was a little squirmy but he didn't scream Donovan and I were pleasantly surprised. We took him to cookie cutters in the District and they did an amazing job he sat in a little red fire truck. I only got a couple of pictures because my dang camera stopped working half way through the cut so I will post his new hair when I go and get a new camera.
Connor just loves the dogs he gets so excited when they come out to play. Roxy and Sky do really well with Connor. Connor can pull and climb all over Roxy and she just lays there and takes it.
Connor is getting so independent he wants to feed himself and he is doing really well with getting juice out of his own sippy cup, he is still learning but he is getting better and better everyday. Feeding him on the other hand is getting be a chore since he still has a hard time chewing but he does not want baby food and he definitely does not want me to feed him, so if any one has any suggestions I am all ears.
It is hard to see but the other day we had a huge storm, I was surprised to see that Connor was not scared of the thunder and lightning he actually would go to the window and laugh every time he heard it.
Connor still loves the bath I get a little nervous as he is standing up and trying to walk the tub and half the time he thinks it is hilarious to take all of his toys and drop them out of the tub and then pick them all up and put them back. But who can resist smiling when you hear his adorable laugh and smile.
