First Hair Cut

I can't believe it was that time. Connor went and had is first hair cut today. He is getting so big I can't believe it and I know I say that all the time but it is true. Connor did really well of course he was a little squirmy but he didn't scream Donovan and I were pleasantly surprised. We took him to cookie cutters in the District and they did an amazing job he sat in a little red fire truck. I only got a couple of pictures because my dang camera stopped working half way through the cut so I will post his new hair when I go and get a new camera.
Connor just loves the dogs he gets so excited when they come out to play. Roxy and Sky do really well with Connor. Connor can pull and climb all over Roxy and she just lays there and takes it.
Connor is getting so independent he wants to feed himself and he is doing really well with getting juice out of his own sippy cup, he is still learning but he is getting better and better everyday. Feeding him on the other hand is getting be a chore since he still has a hard time chewing but he does not want baby food and he definitely does not want me to feed him, so if any one has any suggestions I am all ears.
It is hard to see but the other day we had a huge storm, I was surprised to see that Connor was not scared of the thunder and lightning he actually would go to the window and laugh every time he heard it.
Connor still loves the bath I get a little nervous as he is standing up and trying to walk the tub and half the time he thinks it is hilarious to take all of his toys and drop them out of the tub and then pick them all up and put them back. But who can resist smiling when you hear his adorable laugh and smile.

CATCHING UP

Connor is getting so big he is crawling every where of course he started crawling around 6 months and I think he is going to be walking soon. He walks along furniture really well. A couple of days ago Donovan and I were playing with Connor on the grass and he stood up by himself and held himself there for a little while before falling back onto his bum. He sure is growing up to fast. This outfit my grandma bought for him from cabela's it is so cute the hat says I will hunt for hugs.
This is our newest niece. Donovan's sister Brandie had a baby girl on Aug. 30th she was 5lbs 13 ounces and 21 inches long and her name is Mallory. She is so adorable. Donald is our nephew Donovan's oldest sister's son, he really likes to hold his cousins!

Connor thought it would be fun to get into the flour in the pantry. He was having so much fun I of course had to take a picture before I cleaned up the mess.
Connor is also great at helping me with the dishes. He is just getting into everything and is so curious about what we are doing around the house.
I had a mishap with my car a week ago. I was on my way to work on Tuesday morning and I rolled the nissan. I was very lucky that Connor was not in the car and that I only had scrapes, bumps, and bruises. I am so blessed to not have any worse injuries. I do have to say the Nissan held up around me in the driving seat better than I thought but of course it is not fixable.
We took a very quick trip to Oregon. We were there only a couple of days but my Aunt and Uncle and cousins had not met Connor. We unfortunately did not make it to my grandparents in Oregon we just did not have time. But luckily they will be coming to visit in a month or two. Connor loved to play in the sand but hated the water of the ice cold Oregon coast.
Brooke just loved Connor she took him everywhere with her it was so cute.
My uncle Dennis cut a hole in this box for Connor to play in and he loved it!!

This is Connor walking around the living room with one of his many toys. It is very true what people say once you have kids time flies by :)

Flaming Gorge

The trip to Flaming Gorge was a blast. The only downside is it was cold who would of thought it would have been cold in August. We still had a lot of fun. We did the tour at the Dam on Saturday because it was to cold to get into the water. It was fun to watch Connor look all around at all of the equipment at the Dam.

Eventhough it was cold we still had to let Connor play in the water and sand. He loved the muddy sand and was okay with the water as long as it was only on his hands or feet. The life jacket sure made it hard for him to move around but he was still so cute!

Donovan thought I was crazy when I packed the whole house but we have never gone camping with Connor and I didn't know what to take so I just brought tons of stuff. But it turned out because we used a lot of the things that I brought.
It was cold especially at nights and in the mornings so we bundled Connor up and had him wear gloves and a hat it was so cute. With all the clothes we made him where he was probably sweating but we really didn't want him to get cold in the middle of the night. Connor did fairly well in the tent we took his pack and play for him to sleep in at night. He lasted a while but then he woke up crying so Donovan took him, he snuggled right up to Donovan and slept the rest of the night.
Uncle Karl is so cute with Connor he has so much fun with him. It was fun to have the whole family on the trip. We have never all gone together as a family with all of our spouses and it was alot of fun hopefully we can make this a yearly trip:)
The girls on the boat!!! Friday was not hot but it was warm enough to go on the boat and enjoy the water a little. Flaming Gorge is so pretty, but the water is cold and since it was not hot outside us girls didn't get in the water till we new that we were heading back to camp. But of course Karl and Dan had to wakeboard even in the freezing cold water.

Connor is helping Donovan pull Uncle Dan up on the wakeboard. Connor loves the boat! He always has so much fun and luckily the movement of the boat usually puts him right to sleep it is great!!

We all had a really great time at Flaming Gorge, I was worried to take Connor camping for the first time but it turned out great, good thing for family, it was a blast to have us all together!!!!

Our Back Yard Fun!

Connor is so cute after he gets his bath, he just loves to play in the tub. He splashes the water every where and makes a big mess but he is so cute and has so much fun.
We are starting to finish the backyard. I do not know what we were thinking before we moved we said we wanted a house with a finished backyard and we really did not want a hill. But of course we bought a house with dirt for a backyard and a hill. Donovan and Jason our friend worked all weekend on the backyard. Thanks again Jay!!!!!!!! They got the first layer of rocks down and now they just need to do one more layer of rocks and some rock steps. Oh what a project, but hey I would love to have grass for Connor to go and play on.

In the afternoon Connor got to go outside and help dad move some rocks. He was only able to stay on the machine a few minutes he couldn't hold still of course and he wanted to play with all of the controls. It was so cute to watch him help Dad!!!!

BOATING!!!!!!

Connor has now decided that he loves pickles. He will just suck on a pickle and be totally content for a long time. We had to take this picture because half the time he just keeps it in his mouth and uses his hands for anything else he wants.
This is Donovan wake-boarding. The day was stormy at first but it turned out really nice!

This was Connor's first boat trip. He did really well. The boat put him right to sleep. He had to have his life jacket on at all times so I am surprised he fell asleep he could hardly move his arms or legs, but this is were he slept for over an hour.

We put Connor in the water thinking that he would love it since he loves the bath and also the sink but we were wrong. As soon as we put him in the water he started screaming but of course I had to get a picture. The water was defiantly cold so that may be why he wasn't so happy about his first dip into the lake. Next time we will have to let him get used to the water first.

Even though Connor wasn't didn't like to be in the water he did enjoy the boat and all that was going on around. It was really fun to bring him to the lake with us I was a little worried on how he would do especially after the rodeo experience, but I was pleasantly surprised and it was a great day on the lake. Hopefully our trip to Flaming Gorge in a couple of weeks will be as fun:)

I just love the sunglasses!!!!!!!!!!!

4th of July

The Morris family joined us for a BBQ and fireworks on the 4th. It was a lot of fun watching Jackson and Drexton play and watch the fireworks. Although I am not sure who had more fun the kids or Donovan and Jason lighting the fireworks!!!

This is how Connor spent his 4th, he fell asleep around 730 and missed all of the firework festivities, but oh well he will get to see them all next year. Connor was still tired from the night before when we went up to the rodeo is Kamas. I am not sure if it was all of the people or the noise but he really did not enjoy this adventure, again maybe next year when he is a little older:)

I had to take this picture he just looked so cute waiting for mom to be ready to get into the car.

Almost Crawling!!!!!!!!!

This was on Father's day at my parents house. Connor loves his dad so much he gets so excited when he comes home from work to play with him.

Connor is almost crawling I bet in another week or so he will have it down. He can get up on his hands and knees and move just a little but he hasn't taken off yet but I know it is soon coming. Once he starts crawling really well I am going to have a hard time keeping him in one area. Connor already moves around all over the place as he rolls around from one end of the room to another to get what toys he wants. I can't believe he is getting so big. He is growing so fast I wish he would slow done a little.

And of course he is teething. Connor has two bottom teeth that are sitting just below the gums they will be breaking through any day now, and for Donovan's and my sake I hope they come through soon. So to help ease his poor mouth we get a wet rag and put it in the freezer for a few minutes and he loves to chew on it.
