Tiger Scouts

This afternoon we had our final day of Tiger Scouts. A few mom's in the neighborhood put together Tiger Scouts and we all rotated weeks. The boys had a great time and Connor earned his Tiger. Connor turned 8 and has moved on to cub scouts.

 The boys did a fun skit and all of the parents enjoyed watching the boys get their badges!

We have moved into such an amazing neighborhood and love all of the families we are getting to know!

Jungle Jim's

We have been trying to squeeze a lot of fun activities while Connor has been off track. We all love having him home. Today we took Brooke and met friends at Jungle Jims. It is a building that has some rides and arcades. I couldn't get a picture of Connor he was busy running crazy with friends but I did get a few pictures of the girls and Brooke.

 Adalyn is getting braver and braver everyday, she rode this all by herself.

We love that Brooke got to surprise us from Oregon for Connor's baptism and got to hang out with us and spend some time.

Connor's Baptism

It is really hard to put into words how I feel and have felt leading up to this special day! I cannot believe Connor is already 8 years old. I still vividly remember the many many tears and pain while we fell to our knees and prayed for this child to become apart of our family. Connor is the kindest and sweetest boy I could ask for. He is so kind and caring and truly is the best big brother. His sisters just follow him around soaking in his time. He is truly the answer to our prayers and we are so blessed that the Lord allowed him to come to our family. Today he made an amazing choice to be baptized and become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This is the beginning of many more choices and covenants that we hope he will continue to make and choose the right. Connor really did make this decision on his own and has such a love for the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are very proud to be his parents and look forward to many more special moments with this boy

 I am so proud of Donovan and the man that he is. It makes me so proud that he can baptize his children and that he is the man he is. Donovan is an amazing Dad and this day was so special

 I really did not do a good job at taking pictures for this special occasion. I was so busy enjoying the moments I forgot to take out the camera. This is the only picture I got of Connor with his sisters and also the only picture I got of anyone who attended the baptism.

 Love these boys with all of my heart.

Connor was surrounded by so many friends and family I wish I would have taken more pictures but it was such an amazing day and we are so proud of his decision and choices.

Family Time

 We had family dinner tonight with Anthony, Lori, Leah, Luke and Ashlyn! I love these munchkins so much and I am glad we get together and the kids adore each other!

 Sibling sleepover! These kids wanted to watch movies and sleep in the loft! They had so much fun

These are the cutest Packers fans I have ever seen! We may not have won but these kids are sure cute!

Daddy of Girls

 I love that this man gets on the floor and has a tea party with his girls! He is an amazing Dad and they are so excited when he comes home!

Connor Turns 8

Connor wanted a Star Wars party for his 8th birthday! So Star Wars is what we did even though I have never seen the movies all the way through. Thanks to Pinterest it was a big success. Our house was crazy and filled with 14 boys, but they had a blast and Connor loved his party !

The girls wanted to get in on the birthday fun after all of the crazy boys left!

Connor had a great party and the boys had so much fun! It was absolute chaos but I am so glad all of the hard work paid off!

Connor's Baptism Pictures

Connor is getting baptized in a couple of weeks and today is one of the only days it is not suppose to snow so I took him out of school early to go and take pictures at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. I am so grateful to have so many Temples close by to create these wonderful memories and pictures. While taking these pictures I felt like I could see him getting ready for his mission and this brought tears to my eyes. He is growing to quickly I just want him to stay small. This little man stole my heart from the second I knew he would be sent to our family.

These turned out so good! It was freezing cold but Connor was a good sport and we had a great time capturing such an important milestone in his life! We are so proud of his choice and his testimony. This sweet boy has an amazing spirit and we are so grateful he chose us to be his family.
