We bought a new Travel Trailer a few weeks ago and we have all been so excited to go camping for the first time. I finally had a weekend off and it was suppose to be a nice warm weekend. We planned on camping in Spanish Fork Canyon. Everything was going as planned we got to the site around 8pm and set up camp. It had been a long day and we watched a movie and went to bed.

This is what we work up to in the morning. I know it doesn't look like very much snow but it most definitely causes a problem when you try and pull a trailer out and just sink in the mud/snow. Donovan decided that we should probably find a different place to camp that did not have snow. Of course we tried to pull out of the spot and the trailer sunk in the mud and did not budge. We called Terry and Shella and they brought their truck and came and pulled us out. This was such a fun adventure, not what we expected to happen at all. Whenever things would go different then planned my Mom would always say what an adventure. I have since chosen to carry on this term and look on the brights side of the adventure.

Connor really was sad he couldn't ride the 4-wheeler, so we decided that we would drive to the cabin and go see how the it was coming along. This boy loves the outdoors just like his Daddy! After the cabin we thought about just going home but Connor was so sad and pleaded for us to find a new camping spot so he could have a fire and roast marshmallows. We decided we would head out to the dessert by Utah Lake hopefully getting away from the snow. After a long day we finally found a new camping spot away from the snow. It was very much an adventure, but Connor loved it and we got to spend time together as a family and that is what is important! What an ADVENTURE

and finally the campfire Connor had waited so long for
It really was a crazy weekend, but it was a lot of fun and I especially like that, even though it snowed I was nice and cozy warm in the heated trailer. This is my kind of camping!

These pictures do not do it justice of how dirty the truck and trailer were after getting stuck in snow/mud.
