Day in the Mountains with Daddy

I had to work last night so after I got home Donovan and Connor headed up the mountain. Last weekend while we were camping Donovan set up his game cam to scout out the deer in the area for his upcoming bow hunt. Today they headed up to retrieve the game cam and enjoy a relaxing day in the mountains.

The deer they saw on the drive up the mountain. Connor is just like his Daddy and loves to be outdoors. They had such a great day, and I had a nice quit house to sleep.

Connor's Last Tee Ball Game

Tonight was Connor's last tee ball game of the season. Connor loved tee ball he did so much better with tee ball then soccer. Donovan played baseball growing up and I think Connor is going to take after his Daddy!

Connor loved to hit the ball, and he did really well he always got just underneath the ball and it would fly through the air.
Throwing the ball to first base

Connor's coach made all the kids a cute little bag full of goodies and of course the trophy. We had such a fun season, and I think I will have to start to like baseball I bet we will be playing for many season's to come.

First Camping Trip of the Summer

This weekend we went on the first camping trip of the summer. Connor is just like his Daddy and loves to be outdoors. Friday night after everyone got off work we headed up the canyon to the Uintas, the mountains behind my old house in Kamas.
As soon as we arrived, which was around 1030pm, we started a campfire and set up camp. Despite the face Connor was really excited to start the fire. One of Connor's favorites of camping is having a fire and roasting marshmallows, or burning them.
The next morning after breakfast we headed for a long ride on the 4-wheelers. Connor wanted nothing to do with Mom and Dad he only wanted to ride with Uncle Anthony and Aunt Lori.
After riding for a while we stopped and hiked up a trail near a creek. Connor had to have a walking stick and we even had to bring this walking stick home.
Connor loves to go 4-wheeling as soon as we got back to camp he wanted to go for another ride. We did take Connor's little blue 4-wheeler and he had a blast riding all around camp.
The last couple of pictures in the morning before we headed home
We had a fun camping trip. Connor was so sad to come home but I was sure glad to come home and shower it was a dusty dirty trip. It was a great first trip out for the summer!

Logan Canyon

Today took the 4-wheeler out for our first trip of the summer. We wanted to go camping but we got a cold front so we decided to go for the day. We headed up to Logan Canyon and enjoyed a wonderful day 4-wheeling. Connor is like his Daddy and loves to be outside!
Love this boy
We took Connor's little 4-wheeler with us and let him ride around while we were getting the              4-wheelers off the trailer
We rode for about 4 hours and towards the end of the ride Connor fell asleep, poor buddy was so tired.
Connor helping Daddy tie down the machines
After 4-wheeling we headed up the canyon for dinner and a campfire.
Hot dogs and pasta salad, Connor thought it was a blast to cook his food over the fire
Unfortunately we had to end the fire early, it was so cold. Connor wanted to help Daddy put out the fire. We had so much fun hopefully we will go back to this canyon to camp and 4-wheel when it is a little warmer.

First Tee-Ball Game

We left Connor's Soccer game early and headed to Connor's first Tee-ball game of the season, unfortunately I was called into work so I missed it, but Donovan and our good friend Dara got some really good pictures of Connor.

Connor had so much fun playing baseball and we think he likes it better than soccer, which makes his Daddy proud since he played baseball. I was sad to miss his first game but I am grateful that Connor had support from his Daddy and family and friends that love him.
