Dirt!!!!

WE LOVE DIRT

This is a walking path behind our house, it was warm enough the other day I took Connor on the path and let him walk, run, and play, of course the first thing he ran to was the dirt and weeds on the side of the path, but it was a blast to watch him play he is getting big way to fast.

Ear Surgery

Connor has had 7 ear infections since his first around 2 months old, so after the 7th ear infection we went to and ENT and made the appointment to have tubes put in his ears. One of the other problems we have been having is that Connor had been having a hard time hearing as well as all of the ear infections. Connor did great with the surgery the Doctor said that his ears were some of the worst he had seen it just wasn't fluid behind his ears but just thick sticky gunk, he also said that Connor really probably could not hear it was like he was under water all of the time with all of the crap behind his ears, the surgeon said that we would see a world of a difference in just a couple days and if we hadn't of done the surgery Connor would have to go to speech and language therapy. Connor has already made great improvement, he can hear so much better and he is already talking so much more in just a week. It was stressful to do but I am so glad it is done. I do have to say that I think the process was harder on me then it was on him, I was doing great until anesthesia asked me to hand Connor to him, and I had to watch him walk him down the hall and I couldn't go with him, it was hard because I know from work how scary an OR can be, but of course the 15minute surgery went great and Connor talked and talked all the way home, he could finally actually he what he was saying, and what we were saying. So all in all HOORAY for ear tubes!!!!!!!

Who needs Toys!!!!!!

These are the days when I wonder why I even by toys, when all you need is an empty box!
Connor loves to eat of course he is a boy!! I just had to get pictures of him eating an apple, Connor got the fridge open and opened the bottom drawer and grabbed an apple and started to eat it he loved it it was the first time I have not cut the apple up for him. Connor ate the whole apple and loved it except for the peel he would take a bite and then he would spit out the peel on the floor, of course.

Mischief!!!

Connor loves the kitchen, he loves to get spoons and pans out of the cupboard, but his favorite activity is trying to find a way into my pantry. Connor is getting close to being able to open doors on his own but usually I accidently forget to close the pantry door and Connor sneaks very quietly into the pantry. When I catch him he laughs and laughs it is hard to get mad when he is so cute!!!!!!!

Connor loves this hunting hat, it is the only hat he will keep on his head he puts it on and runs all over the house, Donovan loves it of course, his little boy already has the love for the hunt!!!!
