Connor has had 7 ear infections since his first around 2 months old, so after the 7
th ear infection we went to and
ENT and made the appointment to have tubes put in his ears. One of the other problems we have been having is that Connor had been having a hard time hearing as well as all of the ear infections. Connor did great with the surgery the
Doctor said that his ears were some of the worst he had seen it just wasn't fluid behind his ears but just thick sticky gunk, he also said that Connor really probably could not hear it was like he was under water all of the time with all of the crap behind his ears, the surgeon said that we would see a world of a difference in just a couple days and if we hadn't of done the surgery Connor would have to go to speech and language therapy. Connor has already made great improvement, he can hear so much better and he is already talking so much more in just a week. It was stressful to do but I am so glad it is done. I do have to say that I think the process was harder on me then it was on him, I was doing great until anesthesia asked me to hand Connor to him, and I had to watch him walk him down the hall and I couldn't go with him, it was hard because I know from work how scary an OR can be, but of course the 15minute surgery went great and Connor talked and talked all the way home, he could finally actually he what he was saying, and what we were saying. So all in all
HOORAY for ear tubes!!!!!!!
