Time Flies

Wow, does time fly this is going to be my third week at home and I can't believe how the time keeps flying by. Connor is now three weeks old and he is getting so big. Yesterday at the Dr. he weighed 9lbs 6 ounces. We are still trying to make adjustments as I get less sleep at night, but good thing he is so cute so it is well worth the sacrifice. It really has been fun!! Last Saturday we went and had pictures taken by one of our friends who is a photographer Connor did really well considering he was only two weeks old, and they turned out wonderful I am so glad that we were able to get these pictures. Life moving along at turbo speed and we are all doing well, Donovan is such a big help when he gets home from work and it is nice to have a little bit of time while he plays with Connor, who new something so small could take so much time. We sure enjoy the new member to our family and are looking forward to the many laughs he is bringing to our home!!!!!!

Week #

Another week has gone by man is time flying, this week was another adjustment as Donovan had to go back to work and I was home alone. I am fortunate that Connor is a good baby otherwise I don't know how I would handle the transition. I am so glad to have family close my mom and sister came over a couple of times during the week to help me and just to visit. I am not use to being home so much it is quite different, but good. Well Connor had is two week appointment and he is now 8lbs 14 ounces and 23 in. He is already to tall for any of the newborn outfits but to skinny for the 0-3 outfits I have a feeling that this is going to be an ongoing problem while he is growing up good thing grandma can sew! While in the hospital the staff all said that he was going to be around 6'6" when he is older because of how big his hands and feet are we will just have to see how tall he gets. Also this week I have realized how much more time I need to get out of the house it is taking me a lot longer to gather all of the things I need for Connor but we are starting to get the hang of it I am sure I will get better with time. It has been a great week and Donovan and I are really enjoying the new addition to our home!!!!!

Week #1

What a transition we have made at the Behunin household, this week has been new and exciting with the new addition to our household. Luckily for me Donovan took a week off work so I had lots of help making the transition to motherhood. Connor is a good baby as far as I know not like I have anything to compare him to. What I do know is that he is absolutely adorable and we love our new addition to the family.

This week has pretty much consisted of sleeping, changing, and feeding, we have learned that you take naps when Connor does otherwise sleeping for mom and dad is not really an option and for little boys always make sure you have the other diaper ready otherwise you are going to have to move out of the line of fire and hope he doesn't get anything on any blankets or bedding!!! What a joy a new baby has brought into our lives!!!!!!!!!!!

Addition To the Behunin Family

Connor Taylor Behunin was born January 3rd 2009, weighing 8lbs 10 ounces. Even before Connor graced us with his presence he has taught his parents we run on his time and not our own, Connor was born 5 days after his due date. Even though he decided to come late and after 18 hours of labor he is such a joy and we are glad that he is finally here.
